At a pivotal moment in history, where we are seeing God move among our nation, we are asking that you join us in praying for South Asian communities across the UK. What a time to be alive! I am struck that God knew that each one of us would be here for this time in His story. He has planted us to serve, love and give where we are and I want to rejoice over this together, as well as push through what at times feels dark and painful.
Join us as we gather to pray and fast for a move of God among South Asian people groups in the UK. We know Jesus loves people of all tribes and nations and we want to partner with God in all that He is doing and about to do. His heart is to bring healing, freedom and deliverance to all.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Revelation 3:20
The spiritual battle is very real, but so is our God, and we are called to be a light to this world. Our light should not be hidden, because it is the light of Jesus Christ that shines out of us. I am reminded of Isaiah 60:2, “See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you.”
When is it?
Tuesday, 9 September, 9.15am – 8pm
Meeting points: 9.15am (45mins), 1pm (45mins), and 7pm (1 hour with Communion)
Where?
Online. We will meet online three times during the day and fast from 9.15am to 7pm.
Fasting: For those who can, we will fast from food. For those who cannot due to medical reasons or otherwise, you can fast from things you find distracting, join us to pray for as long as you can.
Who is it for?
This event is for anyone who has a heart for the South Asian community and wants to join as we contend for the souls that God wants to set free. We want to pray for church leaders, organisations, individuals and the wider church. We hope you can join us and be part of this wonderful community of God’s people coming together to see freedom across the UK.
